Dana Tirschman
Buyer Agent
Born in Philadelphia, Dana and her family moved to Maryland when she was just 11 years old.  Her father’s work relocated her family combined with his desire to give his family a “better life”.  Dana, being the middle child, has two brothers.  Two brothers may have been partially responsible for her eagerness to “win”.  She is persistent in achieving her goals as well as the goals of those she is committed.

Graduating from Fallston High School in 2000, Dana attended Harford Community College (HCC) where she earned a degree in Business Administration. Shortly after her time at HCC, she began working in the hospitality industry.  During that time, Dana worked her way from waitress to bartender to general manager. After nine years, she decided to transition into a sales career with the largest beer, wine & liquor wholesaler in Maryland, known as Republic National.  Receiving several awards and much recognition for her hard work, including Salesman of the Year, Dana attributes her growth and success to her ability to build and maintain strong relationships with her customers/clients.  She has always gone out of her way to ensure complete customer satisfaction.  Very outgoing, Dana is not afraid to spark up a conversation with you. She is passionate about people & loves giving back. Dana has big dreams, big goals, and hopes to bring positive change to the community in which she lives and serves.

Dana has a direct and straightforward approach.  She sees sharing knowing as an opportunity to provide direction.  She loves challenges and is excited by new ideas.  Her ability to close, alongside a team that supports her in service, keeps her moving in the right direction in the pursuit of her goals…and yours.  She is eager and continuous in creating a positive customer experience.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Dana has always envisioned owning her own business. Her love for design, arts, and architecture put real estate top of mind.  It wasn’t until a near death experience (a pulmonary embolism causing her to hemorrhage), after the birth of her 3rd child, Dana realized she could no longer put her dreams on hold.  Carving out what she believes and what she now knows in her heart with a purposeful plan, Dana’s pursuit of real estate is the beginning of her designed destiny.  Dana desires to build a community outreach program, a non-profit organization, and build a dream alongside her dad owning their own ice cream parlor.  There’s no better way to bring community together then ice cream!  Dana believes that miracles do happen…she’s living proof!  She’s grateful and ready to see her dreams come to life.  Her vision for community commitment make her a natural part of the Compass Home Group mission.

Dana currently resides in Bel Air with her husband and three children, Ryleigh (9), Brody (5), Harley (2).  She is mom, first and always, otherwise she is hard at work for her clients.  You may also find her standing sideline supporting all her children’s endeavors and sports commitments. She loves being active and doing anything outdoors.  Having served in the restaurant field for such a long time, she has an absolute love for all things food, wine, and craft cocktails.  So, don’t be afraid to ask her about your next event’s perfect specialty drink.
